Club Activities

The Club Staff at Pinewild enjoy preparing special events for our Members such as wine dinners, holiday celebrations, playoff parties, and kids camps. Each is designed to bring the community together and develop cherished traditions.

Of course, the real magic happens when Members get together and create their own events and clubs that the staff helps host and facilitate. Book Clubs hosted at the Clubhouse, Garden Clubs with expert guest speakers, pickleball events, and par-3 tourneys are just a few examples of how our members take an active role in defining the Pinewild lifestyle.

Every family has a home. And for the family of Pinewild Members, that home is the pinnacle of Southern hospitality and charm. Pinewild’s Clubhouse is not only located in the literal center of the community, but it also serves as the community’s social activity center. Its inviting exterior architecture is matched by its appealing interior design. Members meet up here in the dining room throughout the day for a bite to eat or in the locker rooms as they prepare for a match on the links.

The spectacular patio overlooks the 18th hole of the Magnolia course, and you can often find members gathering here on many a warm summer night. When it’s time for private events, our catering staff ensures that each occasion is entertaining, memorable, and extra special! The Pinewild Clubhouse is a place where our Members can relax, connect, laugh out loud and just be themselves.

Pinewild’s culinary team is led by Executive Chef Todd Martin. He was trained in Classical French and Italian Cuisines. He was previously employed by Casa Monica Hotel in St Augustine, Florida, and The Tower Club in Ft. Lauderdale. That means whether you are joining us for our daily lunch, weekend breakfast, evening dinner, or even our snack bar service, you’re getting access to the finest cuisine available. Our staff incorporates the freshest ingredients and offers a full exploration of flavors for everything from weekend barbecues to elegant wedding receptions.

And, if you’re ever inspired to travel beyond our gates, the Village of Pinehurst is just a quick jaunt down the road, where a wealth of amazing restaurants awaits your discovery. From casual eateries to fine dining establishments, this town has something for everyone.

The inviting outdoor setting of Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst calls out to more than the golfers in our Member family. There are plenty who choose to grab a racquet and take to the courts. Whether it’s a fast-paced game of tennis that calls out to you or a leisurely volley bewteen friends, Pinewild offers you the facilities and camaraderie you seek.

Swimming

The Water Feels Fine

When the summer sun is sitting high in the North Carolina sky, there’s nothing more refreshing than a dip, swim, or even splash in the Pinewild pool. Whether you’re drawn in for recreation or cooling off, our Junior Olympic saltwater swimming pool is just the ticket. We also offer a wading pool for the little ones to splash around and make new friends. And Water Aerobics are held at the pool twice a week during the pool season mid-May through early October.

All in all, a perfect way to soak up the sun, beat the heat, and claim you exercised that day.

Outdoors

The Call of the Outdoors

The natural beauty and temperate climate of the Sandhills inspire you to spend as much time outdoors as possible when staying at your Pinewild home. While we offer a number of active amenities for your outdoor enjoyment (golf, tennis, pickleball, swimming), we also provide options for when you simply want to slow down and smell the flowers a bit.

Lake Pinewild
A picturesque 25-acre lake off Stoneykirk Drive, which can be accessed via Pinewild Park. Canoes, kayaks, and battery-operated boats/vehicles may be used on Lake Pinewild.

Pinewild Park
A recreation area operated by the Pinewild Property Owners Association and includes amenities such as:
