We are proud to offer the Pinewild Golf Academy to our Members, our Junior Members, and other golf enthusiasts throughout the Sandhills. Our teaching philosophy values progress over perfection and extends beyond the game itself, striving to connect with each student on a personal level. If you’re new to the game, we aim to make the game accessible and fun from day one. And if you’re seasoned veteran, it’s all about what you want to improve.

CAPTAIN OF OUR SHIP
The Pinewild Golf Academy is led by Gus Ulrich, PGA, who is recognized as one of the most respected players and teachers in the Carolinas PGA Section. In addition to a number of personal achievements, Gus is currently the Men’s Golf Coach at Sandhills Community College, boasting four NJCAA D3 National Championships (2014, 2021, 2022 and 2023) and runner-up finishes in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
