The Magnolia Course

Originally designed by Gene Hamm, the 18-Hole, par 72 Magnolia Course opened to rave reviews in 1989, and quickly put Pinewild on the map. Characterized by vast elevation changes, generous driving areas, and spacious challenging greens, this course is tailor-made for PGA Professionals and true golf aficionados.

Hole #2 is one of the most aesthetically pleasing holes and it truly showcases Gene Hamm’s design style. You can do your best to avoid the old pine tree on #8, but it seems to always be in everyone’s business and never nice. And to finish on #18 is a joy to behold. The elevated tee box affords you a spectacular view that encompasses the putting green, the fairway, pond, Clubhouse, and beyond.

With the back tees measuring almost 7,400 yards and its traditional design, The Magnolia continues to get chosen year after year by the USGA for the local qualifier. That speaks to the quality of the design as well as its continued appeal. One thing is certain, once a golfer has played Magnolia, they never forget it.
